  • Our Editorial Guidelines

  • 1. Evaluation Process

All submissions will be reviewed by our editorial team. We will do our best to review submissions as quickly as possible, but please note that for the sake of quality and thoroughness, the review process can take up to two weeks. If the author has not received a response within three business days, they are free to follow up with us. We will notify the author within one week if their submission has been accepted for publication.

  • 2. Our Editorial Process

If a submission is accepted for publication, it may go through an editing process to ensure that it meets our standards of quality, clarity and originality. We will work with the author to make any necessary revisions, and we will provide the author with a copy of the edited version for their review and approval before it is published. The author will be required to submit a final, edited manuscript that meets the standards of Gudu Publishing. The final, edited manuscript must be formatted according to our style guide and the requested changes must be made to the manuscript.

  • 3. Cover Design

As per Gudu Publishing’s style guide and branding strategy, we will more than likely design the cover for the manuscript. However, if the author would like to provide their own cover design, they should ensure that it meets the specifications of Gudu Publishing and that all necessary rights and permissions have been obtained.

  • 4. Marketing & Promotion

Gudu Publishing will work with the author to develop a marketing and promotion plan for their published works. This may include using Gudu Publishing’s social media outlets, website and other forms of distribution channels. We encourage authors to be actively involved in the marketing and promotion of their work.

  • 5. Copyright & Permissions

By submitting their work to us, the author confirms that they hold the copyright to the work and that it has not been previously published. The author also confirms that they have obtained any and all necessary permissions for the use of third-party materials that are included in the work. Gudu Publishing will hold the copyright to the work once it is published.
